Criteria

Students will:

Box 1:
- Describe the lifestyle of an imagined persona during the early 1800s, through a diary entry, using the correct structure and language
- Identify and use the correct structure and language for a letter, to describe a significant event in the early 1800's
- Creatively design and make an object that could belong in the early 1800's
- Explain coherently in writing why the object selected is appropriate
- Creatively and accurately construct a map of Australia in the early 1800s

Box 2:
- Describe the lifestyle of an imagined persona during the early 1900s, through a diary entry, using the correct structure and language
- Identify and use the correct structure and language for a letter, to describe a significant event in the early 1900's
- Creatively design and make an object that could belong in the early 1900's
- Explain coherently in writing why the object selected is appropriate
- Creatively construct a map of an imagined local area within Australia from the early 1900s
- Create an artwork representing a scene or image relevant to the early 1900s

General:
- Researchs independently and with a partner using a range of resources
- Work appropriately with a partner to compile researched information into a creative an appropriate assignment, fitting the previous criteria
- Independently reflect on the assignment, using evaluative and sophisticated language to communicate both strengths and weaknesses
